Letter from the family: Hello!!! My name is Violeta. I’m a single mom of three wonderful children. Two that still live with me and one that passed away some years ago. He was 15 and he had special needs. I also have my own health problems, I often get seizures and I lose consciousness of anything that’s happening around me. Some years ago we had a fire in our house while we were sleeping and when I woke up to it I started having seizures, there was nothing I could do to help my children. They took us to the hospital and when I woke up from my seizures it had been a couple days and one of my sons had passed away, the one with special needs. He had a heart attack. He inhaled too much of the smoke and had other complications and there was nothing I could do to help him. My health is not improving and my biggest fear is that if I die my children won’t have a place to live. We just want a safe place where we can be together. We sincerely ask for your help and thank you so much for considering us for a Home of Hope.
