Letter from the family:
Hello!!! My name is Karen Jaquelin. I'm a stay at home mom of two little children. My husband works as a bartender. He’s very hardworking but sadly what we make weekly is still not enough to cover all of our needs. Sometimes I try to help him by cleaning houses or taking care of other children to make a bit of extra money but it only gives us enough income to pay the bills. I've been paying for my land for the past 5 years and it was just me taking care of all of our expenses since I was a single mom. Now I have Antonio and we help each other but we also have another baby so our expenses have increased. The father of my first child doesn’t help me at all and that’s why I haven’t been able to do much for my land. Sometime ago we started saving and thank God we were able to make a little room on our land to try to move in there but it’s very rustic. The floor is still dirt and we don’t have running water or electricity. So I ask with all of my heart for your help. It would really make all the difference in our lives if we could move to our land and have a safe place that belongs to us. Thank you so much for considering our petition.
