Hello!! We are a family from Cuernavaca, Morelos. We came as a family to Tijuana 4 years ago in search of a better life. It was my husband, my two daughters and I, but 2 years ago my husband left and I had to take care of my children by myself. We don’t have any family in this city so I had to find new ways to make money. I started selling tamales and I got a part time job at the laundry mat I currently work in so I wouldn’t have to leave my daughters alone too much. Later on I met a friend who helped me acquire my piece of land and we started paying for it together. Still It’s very hard for me to pay rent, the montly land payments and to save money to build a house. That’s why I come to you to ask for your help.
