FAMILY STORY:
Cesar is 24 years old and is from México city. Claudia is 27 years old and is from Veracruz. They have three children: Gamaliel who is 8 years old and is in 3rd grade, Yamil who is 4 years old and Mildred who is 1 year old.
Cesar and Claudia have had some rough times. He used to struggle with drugs and alcohol and cheated on her on multiple occasions in the past. They lived together for two years and separated for one. After a year being apart, they decided to give it another chance. A year ago, they both gave their lives to Jesus and it transformed their lives. They are both now serving in a church and their marriage has become better as a result.
Living together with them is Claudia’s mother, her sister and her sister’s four children. They live in a room made with wood and tarps. They want a Home of Hope to give their children a better opportunity to live, a place where they can start over and leave their dark past behind.
