FAMILY STORY:

Sofía is 27 years old and is from Oaxaca, Juan is 30 years old and is from Chiapas. They have 3 daughters: Erika who is 11 years old and is in 5 grade of elementary school, María who is 8 years old and is in 3 grade of elementary school and Evelin who is 3 years old. They have been together for 13 years.

They met each other in La Paz in south Baja during the green been sowing season. She was 14 years old and He was 17 years old. Young as they were they moved together and two years later they had their first daughter Erika. Later they moved to Ensenada to work in a field. They were living in a small room that the owner of the field gave them. They lived there for five years but when the work on the field ended they moved to live with Sofía’s father, while living there they decided to pay the electricity and water bills.

They lived with her parent for a time but later things got harder. Sofía has many brothers and she was afraid that because she only has daughters, something could happen to them so she decided to bought a property so one day she could live there.

Sofía and Juan have been working hard but they don’t have the resources to build a house, they are desiring to have a HOH house to give their daughters a safe and comfortable place where to live, grow and create great memories together.
