Family Story:
Soledad is a single mother. She separated from her husband over a year ago because there were some problems going on between them. She still receives some money weekly from him for the 3 children they had together. The oldest one, Sahi, has down syndrome and has been receiving special education. Sahi just finished elementary school and wants to go into middle school next year. Then there’s Marina and she’s in 10th grade. And then Alan who’s in 7th grade. They all go to Circulo Andante (which is one of YWAM Ensenada’s childrens ministries). When she decided to leave her husband she started paying for the property where currently live in a trailer she bought for them. Being a single, working mother of 3 children, she is not able to build or buy a proper house for her family.
