Magdalena and her family are from San Luis Potosi. She became a single mother when she left her house with her kids because they were being physically abused by her husband. She worked in different ranches until she made her way to Ensenada. She started working as the cleaning lady at a grocery store but then started another job alongside the first one packing goods. She would work from 6:00am to 3:00pm at the grocery store and then from 3:00pm to 2:00am packing goods. With hard work and sacrifice she was able to start buying a property and build a little house with a plastic roof. They’ve been through really rough times and life has been hard for them but Magdalena won’t give up for the best of her children: Juan, Cristian, Hugo and Dulce.
