Hello!! My name is Guadalupe Ibarra, I’m a single mom of 5 wonderful children. Three of them do live with me and depend on me fully, two of them are adults, one of them still lives with me and the other one has become independent. I’ve rented the same house for the past five years. It was cheap and comfortable at the beginning but now because of the rains the house has become very deteriorated. The house is full of moho and the roof leaks. Because of that I decided to start paying for a piece of land so we could build something there someday. Our current living conditions are affecting my baby’s health because of the humidity but normal rents are very expensive, that's why we haven’t been able to move anywhere else. Having our own house would also help us save some money that we could use for other needs.
