Hello my name is Sandra Carvallo, I’m a widowed mom of two wonderful daughters. Two years ago, my husband died unexpectedly in a matter of two weeks. We were living at my mother in law’s when he fell ill. She helped take care of the girls while I took care of him day and night until sadly he passed away. After his funeral I went to be with my relatives for a couple days but when I went back to my mother in law's house she was in a lot of emotional pain and rage and she didn’t receive us back in the house. She was mourning. We found ourselves in the streets with anything but what we were wearing. My family received us back again, so we moved to Rosarito permanently to start a new life. Here we bought a piece of land and I’ve been paying for it while I live at my aunt’s house. Here my older daughter sleeps on a sofa and I sleep on the floor with my youngest daughter. My aunt has been very good to us but her house is small and we long for a place of our own that we can call home. Thank you so much for considering us for a Home of Hope! God bless you.
