Letter from the family: Hello! my name is Briseida I'm from Michoacan a state in the south of Mexico. I've been working since I was 8 years old selling fruits and vegetables. When I grew up I started working in the filds picking lemon, papaya and mango but it was payed very poorly and also the cartels sometimes would not let us work that's why I decided to come to Tijuana to work and to be able to help my parents. Here I met my husband Ezequiel, while I already had two children from my past couple he accepted me with them and treats them as if they were their own. With the years we had other 2 daughters and my husband doesn't make distintion between them. Now that is 6 people in our family my husband's salary is not enough. I have to stay at home to take care of the girls and take them to school. With alot of effort we saved to buy our land because my children were tired of renting and moving from house to house. Everytime we would move they would have to change schools and leave their friends and that would make them sad. My husband and I built the wood house we have now with the help of our daughters. It's very humble but it's the start of our new life, that's why we would love if you would build a house not for us but for our children who we love the most in the whole world. Our children are our biggest blessing and we love them with all of our heart and their happiness is our happiness.
