My name is Reyna Ramirez Otis. I have 4 children, Alvaro who is 12 years old, Cristian who is 7 years old, Melissa who is 3 years old and Fernando who is 2 years old. I live in a little wooden house that my husband built with some of his siblings. Some of the wood was given to us and some of the wood we had to purchase used. My husband works as a builder’s assistant and he earns very little. With what we earn we have just enough to purchase the food we need to eat. That is why why haven’t been able to fix up the house. Also I am unable to work because I must stay home with my children, and my brother in law and his wife live with us as well. We all sleep on the floor and in the same area where I cook and we eat. In the winter time, a lot of cold air comes into the house as it is made of a tarp. About a month ago there were very strong winds and rain, and the rain entered from all sides of the house and we were not even able to sleep. I hope that you are able to help. Thank you.
