Letter From the Family:
Through this letter I'd like to send you a warm greeting on behalf of my family and kindly ask for you to offer your help to my family. We are in need of a roof over our heads and a safe place for my children. I have two daughters, and they are my everything. In this moment we are in a very complicated situation. Four years ago a couple lent my family a piece of land and told us we could build there.
Just six months ago they informed us that they wanted to sell the land that we were living on. The owners of the property started pressuring us to leave but the only thing I could think about is how I don't have what it takes to make a better future for my daughters, I do everything that I can to help my husband but I can't work because I am ill. The doctors told me that they couldn't operate on me because of the large amounts of inflammation in my body. I suffer from cronic pain in my abdomen. I work in whatever I can when work presents itself, I just want to give my girls a better and bright future.
This is why I've come to ask for a home of hope. We need hope. With God's help we have made it this far, my sister-in-law told me about a program called "Homes of Hope" and by the grace of God I was able to find you. Goodbye for now, may God bless you always. Thank you so much.
