When they separated, Mary Adelina's father gave her the plot of land where they are now living. The boys' father does not give child support.

The boys love spending time with their father and see him every two weeks and stay with him overnight. Their father lives in a rehab center and Mary Adelina lets them go with him as their grandmother on the father's side takes care of them when they are with him.

The boys are in school full-time starting their day at 8am and finishing at 4pm, and on Saturdays, their grandparents (on the father's side) take care of them.

Mary Adelina works as a secretary in a school office earning $51 USD a week. She also goes to University, Monday through Thursday in the evenings and is studying to be licensed in Sciences of Education.

Her family does not actually help with supporting them as they had some problems and are a bit distant at the moment as they wanted to be in authority over her children.
