Maria is from Obregon, she was married at 19 to her first husband. They were married for 5 years and had two children together. They had a good life until her husband became unfaithful to her. Maria fell into depression for what had happened and decided to move to Ensenada to find a new job and make a life on her own with her two children. Maria’s husband came to Ensenada and they got back together, but they were not happy and separated again. During the short time they were together again, they had another child together (Marsela). Once again Maria was a single mom caring for her children. A few years ago, Maria worked at a carnitas stand where she met her current husband who was a frequent customer. Enrique liked Maria and asked her out on a date. Enrique helped Maria with taking care of the children and encouraged her to move in with him and buy a piece of land with him to build a house so they could make a good life together.
