Arcadio and Maribel are originally from Oaxaca, they both decided to move to Ensenada in search of better work opportunities. They moved to Ensenada with their son Ezequiel, Rubi was born in Ensenada. Arcadio found work in the fields, but Maribel wasn’t able to get a job, so she decided to stay home and care for their family. They were living with Arcadio’s brother for the first few months before eventually finding a piece of land they could buy on credit and build on. Their land is now paid off. They bought wood and materials, and Arcadio and his brother built them a place to live. Arcadio is currently working Monday to Saturday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm in the fields, earning around $65 a week. This family needs a home so that their children can live better, be comfortable and safe. They believe that God will give them a home for their children.
