Family Story:
Veronica and Raul met in Mexico City when they were kids. Veronica was 9 years old and Raul 11 years old. About 6 years later they decided to move in together and start a family. Later on, Veronica and Raul ended up having 3 beautiful little girls: Renata, Rebeca and Romina. In the city that they lived crime rate was going up to the point that one day, while Veronica was walking in the street with Rebeca, someone almost snatches Rebeca out of her hands. Because of this, Veronica and Raul decide to move to a place that would be a safe environment for the girls to be raised in so they moved to Ensenada.
Unfortunately, when they moved to Ensenada, the only place that they could afford to live in was in the property that they are still paying. In this property they have tried to build different shacks but because of rain, wind, the quality of the wood and different situations they have had to rebuild the shack. One day, because of the animals around their property, the entire place was infested with ticks. They had to throw away all the wood that their small shack was made of fumigate their land and Veronica had to cut all the girls’ hair because they had ticks on them.
Today, they are living in a camping tent that someone gave them and the people around their community have been trying to help them out as much as they can until they receive their own Home of Hope.
