Lucero is originally from La Paz which is close to Cabo San Lucas on the bottom of the Baja California Peninsula. She is a single mother to Dayana who is 2 years old and Jonathan who is 2 months old. Her significant other started to use drugs and treated her badly so Lucero decided to go to the land that she had bought a while ago. She had nowhere to live on it, so her neighbor lent her a little room. Lucero's land is uneven and that's why she chose to build a place with her neighbor. But now the neighbor's son has been letting men into the house and Lucero isn't comfortable with that, and she doesn't feel that it's safe for her children.
