Family Story:
Carlos and Patricia are from Oaxaca, they have been together for 5 years, and they have Brayan who is 2 years old. 4 years ago they decided to move to Ensenada, looking for better life and better job opportunities. Even if hasn’t been easy, when they moved they came with nothing, they rented a small room, until 2014they we able to buy a property and with the very little they had, they moved in their land in 2015. They build a room made of pieces of wood, tarp, and plastic. Their desire was to stop paying rent and have their own space. They don’t have running water, so they have someone that sells the water and fills their barrels, they don’t have electricity or their street paved. But fortunately Carlos and Patricia is a family that doesn’t give up, and both of them work at the fields, picking up spinach and onions. Unfortunately their salary is very little and is not enough to build a home, that’s why they come asking for help with a humble heart they hope in some day own a home where they can feel safe.
