FAMILY STORY:

Cristo Ignacio is 21 years old and Cintia is 23. They are from Michoacán. They have two children Marcela Guadalupe who is 4 years old and Dominic Ignacio with 2 years old. They met in Michoacán and for a time where living there. Looking for a better job and for better opportunities of life they moved to Ensenada.

They live in a property that they bought in payments, with a lot of hard work they moved in and built a room from wood scraps and tarp. The room is in bad shape and can’t properly protect them either from rain or cold.

Their baby, Dominic, has some health issues; when Cintia was going to give birth she had some complications, the baby almost died and he drank the amniotic fluid when he was about to born damaging his left eye in the process.

Ignacio and Cintia work selling churros on the street earning only $1,000 pesos per week (Around 57 dlls), this make their situation even harder as it is not enough for their property payments, their children needs and their needs.

They wish to receive a home of hope to have a home, a safe place where they can live and offer a better future for their children.
