Pedro and Elvira met in Mexico City when they were 16 and 14 years old. They came to Ensenada together and lived together and started out selling flowers. They moved to Mexicali for a time and that is where Dehemy was born. They lived there for three more years until they had Adal. They then moved around in cities like Mexicali, Tijuana, and Ensenada loking for work and where they could sell more. One day they were robbed and had everything stolen from them. They then decided to move to Ensenada with their four children.They got a piece of land on creditwhere they currently live. Their income has not been enough for them to cover their personal expenses, care for the children, make land payments and build a home. They all sleep in the same room and their "kitchen" is outside.
