Vanessa left with the two kids and went to live with her parents for two years. Vanessa started to work in the fields and is where she met Rogelio five years ago. Four years ago they were given a place to live on the land where they are currently living. It was just two months ago when they were able to buy it and make it their own. The house they built out of scrap wood and tarps. Their situation is a difficult one. They do not have enough money to cover all their expenses and build a proper home. The desire of Vanessa and Rogelio is to be able to give their children safe place they can call home and be together.
