Sonia is from Hermosillo and moved to Ensenada when she was 17 years old. She had 2 daughters with a man she didn’t have a healthy relationship with. He had problems with alcohol and would physically abuse them. It was after that relationship that she decided to move to Ensenada with her mom so that they could have a better life. Then Sonia met a man that helped her out a lot financially. They even had plans to get married until the man tried to abuse Sonia’s daughter. For that reason, they broke things off. Finally, Sonia met a responsible man, Jorge. He was a good man and she admired how good he was with her girls. They decided to date and eventually got together. Sonia is not working anymore because she’s taking care of her children while Jorge is taking care of the family economically speaking. They’re living in a trailer right now because their income is very low and they’re hoping to get something better.
