Dagoberto and Victoria have been together for 10 years. They had a piece of land with a house, but Dagoberto became very ill and needed an operation. At the time Victoria was pregnant and was unable to get a job because nobody wanted to hire a pregnant woman. They had to sell the house and property because Dagoberto was unable to walk/work for 9 months following the operation. They went to live with one of his brother's until they decided it was time to leave and they needed to find their own place. They found land and bought it on credit. Their children are cared for by a neighbor who they pay $15 a week for her help.
