Family Story:
Carlos and Graciela have been married for 9 years. Graciela already had a son prior to her marriage with Carlos. Graciela and the boys' father were separated because he wouldn't work, the boys father has never supported her financially. Now she's married to Carlos and they have had three more children.
They bought a piece of property and found an old trailer to use and have been living in it for 7 years. Graciela applied for a home with YWAM because she was pregnant with their 4th child and the trailer they were living in was in poor conditions to be receiving a new baby. Apart from the fact that it would be too small for all of them. They were so excited to hear that they'll be receiving a new home soon.
The tried to move the trailer to prepare the property to poor the foundation for the new house, but it was very old and fell apart. They had to take it apart and were able to sell the steel parts at a recycling plant, they used the proceeds to level the property for the construction.
They've had to go and live temporarily with Graciela's mom, she lives on the same street as them. Carlos works at an ice manufacturing company and only earns around $59 dollars a week. His salary is very small for their expenses.
