A Mother's Dream Fulfilled — YWAM San Diego/Baja

Working two jobs to make ends meet, Angelica does everything she can to provide and make a better life for her 2-year-old son, Maximiliano. She shared,  “he is my reason for fighting each day, my inspiration, my strength, and my entire life.” After getting a divorce, she and Max moved in with her mother in a small 7-foot by 6-foot room. With only room for a single bed and their clothes, there was no space for Maximiliano, a little boy full of life and energy, to run and play.

“I would love and I deeply desire to be able to have a home for myself and my son. I have been dreaming for years for the day, God willing when we live in one together.”

That dream finally came to fruition earlier this year, when Angelica and Maximiliano received their very own Home of Hope! Maximiliano ran excitedly around the worksite while Angelica worked hard to contribute to her house coming together.

Now Angelica’s dream is fulfilled. They have a space to be together as a family and Maximiliano has a room of his own to run and play in!
