LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
We are a family of three: Baudelio, Imelda and Ángel Gabriel. We have been together as a couple for 17 years. Our son, Ángel Gabriel, just turned 16 and is currently in high school. He was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of six. Since then, we have incurred ongoing expenses for psychological and, currently, psychiatric consultations. We mention this because we depend on a single income, since the mother cannot work, although she would like to, since Ángel Gabriel requires constant supervision. With this income, we cover rent, utilities, school expenses, food and other necessities, which has been challenging, but we trust that God has always been with us. Right now we are going through a difficult situation. We have always lived in rented homes, and two months ago we were asked to leave our current home. We feel a lot of pressure because the last time we paid rent, we were asked when we would leave. The truth is that we have nowhere else to go and cannot afford to pay more rent. Because of our financial situation, we have not been able to build our own home because we also have to make timely payments on the land where we hope to build our home. If we are more than three days late, we are charged additional penalties. We have prayed a lot and trust in God's mercy and promises. Owning a house has always been our dream and hope. We need a house because we have no other place to live and because we believe in God's promises and know that He has something good in store for us.
