LETTER FROM THE FAMILY:
My name is Frida Román. I am a mother of four and the wife of Ángel Robles. I am writing to share our situation and request support in obtaining a home. For years, my husband and I rented different houses, constantly facing the risk of being asked to leave. I worked to help with expenses, but it meant leaving my children alone for over six hours daily. Eventually, I had to quit when my eldest daughter told me strangers had been knocking on our door. Due to financial struggles, our landlord asked us to leave. My parents lent us a room, where we have lived for a year and a half, but we understand they want their space back. We tried to get a home on credit but did not qualify, so we purchased land with monthly payments of $3,680 pesos, which we are still paying. A year ago, I unexpectedly became pregnant with our fourth child. Although it was difficult at first, we are grateful for her. However, our financial situation remains challenging. My husband covers basic expenses, but we cannot build on our land or find a rental due to having four children. For this reason, we sincerely seek support from "Homes of Hope." We need a home where our children can grow in security and stability. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to be considered.
