Letter from the family: Hello we are the family Romero Ledesma!!! My name is Lucia, I'm a single mom of a wonderful 8 year old boy named Jonathan. I had a very difficult childhood growing up. My dad left us when I was 11 years old and since then me and my siblings started working to help my mom with our family expenses. I started my own family when I was 21 years old with the dad of my son but after a while we had to part our ways because of violence and I went back to live with my mother. I started focusing on God and putting my life together working and serving at church. Later on I met someone else and with him I tried again to start a family but we had to split too because of the same issues. He helped me buy the land I own right now and in january of 2023 we had to leave the house we were renting so we moved to our land in an improvised house we built with wood scraps and a tin roof with a tarp. It still leaks when it rains, and our living conditions are not the right ones but I know God is good and he's the one who has given me the strength I need to keep going and trying.
