Hello! my name is Perla, I’m currently 25 years old and I live with my 9 year old. I go to university and my son is in 4th grade. We’re a small family. 3 years ago we were living with my ex husband in a house we had built together with a lot of effort but because of different circumstances my son and I had to leave and look for a better place. Right now we are renting a small house where we don’t pay a lot and that has helped us pay for our own land. Our situation is not easy, it’s not easy to be a single mom and study and work at the same time. For a season I was saving to try to pour some concrete in my land to start building something and that’s when some people told me about Homes of Hope and I applied. I’m just a mom who’s trying to make it in life. I wanna give a good and worthy life to my child. I don’t want our roof to leak anymore or have wanter running through our floor. Right now I don’t have the income to build a safe home because our other life expenses but thank you so much for the support you give to families like mine!
