We are from Oaxaca, we arrived to Tijuana 4 years ago, the main reason we moved was because of living and economic situation wasn’t the best. We have two daughters, and we want to give the best we can to them. The main situation we have right now is that we can't afford to give them a good quality life since the only supporter in the family is my husband. Being able to receive a home of hope will facilitate us to give our children a better life, since with the money my husband makes, we can only afford to pay for the family expenses, land and rent. We started building a little wood room, and we are moving there as soon as possible in order to stop paying rent, because it takes a toll in our finances.
