We seek to have our creativity come from knowing and worshiping God. From that point, we will give you the tools to Make Him Known across the globe in the Outreach Phase. You’ll take what you learn about leading worship in the classroom and put it into immediate real-world practice.
During this 8-week missions trip, you’ll travel to an overseas destination to apply the concepts you learned during the Campus Phase and use your worship ministry talents to communicate God’s love and serve communities untouched by his story.
When you lead worship in these communities, you’ll experience the deeply personal endeavor of sharing your inner faith in God with the world through your music or art. Our other outreach activities will include home building, feeding the houseless, ministering to orphans, and praying over red-light districts.
The cost of YWAM San Diego/Baja’s Campus Phase is $3,695, which includes tuition, food, housing, and learning materials. We offer partial scholarships to students from developing nations.
The cost of the Outreach Phase can vary depending on the destination and the airfare, but lodging, food, and transportation for the 2-month trip typically costs between $2,500 - $4,500.

Psalm 33:3 says, “Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the string, with loud shouts.”
Worshiping God has always been intrinsically linked to creative pursuits. Both music and art are powerful tools for expressing God’s story across diverse spheres of society. Making music or practicing an art form are also effective community-building tools that can enable you to lead worship in any setting with any group.
