Antonio and Marcelina work packing vegetables, Marcelina works in the day and her husband works in the night. In the day while she is working, Antonio stays in home taking care of their children, taking them to school and picking them up later. In the night is her turn to take care of them while Antonio is working.They have a small wood house that someone gave them. Their roof is made with wood and tarp.They ask for a house because the one they have now is not safe, and it’s too small for all of them.

Alejandro and Blanca come from Michoacan state. They have been married for 21 years. While there were living in Michoacán they had Alejandra, but looking for a better life they decided to move to USA to work there. They lived in the States for 12 years. In the time they were living there Odalis, Jaquelin, Cinthia and Alejandro were born. One night Alejandro finished his shift in a restaurant and was coming back home when a police officer stopped him and he was deported back to Tijuana. Blanca decided to follow her husband back to México. Now they have been 5 living in Ensenada and two years ago they had Alison. One day, early in the morning, their neighbors’ house caught on fire and because their house was really close, it caught on fire too and they lost everything. Alejandro works as a freelance gardener, and sometimes he is capable of earn around 1,200 pesos per week. Now they desire a safe house were to live together with their children and redo their lives in México.
