They were not in a safe environment to live, but thank God they were able to buytheir property, where they were able tobuild a small room with a tarp, in this room they are able to sleep, cook, and eat. They have a dirt floor, they do have electricity, but they have to buy their water.  Their weekly salaryis not enough to cover everything that they need. Luis goes to high school, but this adds more expenses.

As a family, they wanted to build a safer home but time and circumstances stopped them from building something better. But day by day they go out to the fields looking for jobs, for money to bring food home to their tables, and not loose the hope of a better house.
