The DTS is designed to encourage students in personal character development, cultivating their relationship with God and identifying their unique individual gifts and callings. Cross-cultural exposure and global awareness are special emphases throughout the course, preparing the students to evangelize and disciple current and future generations, answering the call to “Go into all the world and teach (make disciples of) all nations.” Matthew 28:19

Are ready to go where you have never been? Regardless of the destination you choose everyone gets involved in evangelism and mercy ministries helping the poor and needy as a team. The unreached people of both locations are waiting for you!
As a second phase of the Discipleship Training School, specially organized teams are sent out for 8 weeks of evangelism in cross-cultural situations. The emphasis is on the application of principles taught in the DTS lecture phase coupled with teaching on evangelism concepts and practices, equipping students to share their faith in a variety of ways.
You will be ruined for the ordinary. Be prepared for extreme conditions in outreach locations your friends won’t know how to spell…
Outreach Newsletter
You will be doing a newsletter as part of your training so please bring:
- your church directories
- addresses of friends and loved ones
- This newsletter will be an extra expense (you’ll send out anywhere from 50-100 of them) so bring money for envelopes, stamps, internet usage, and cost of printing!
