QWhat is included in the travel insurance YWAM provides?

A comprehensive accident and sickness insurance policy with travel assistance benefits is required for the length of your trip. We partner with Dissinger Ins. and they provide us with a low cost travel insurance plan. When you send in your application forms our Homes of Hope Registrar will take care of ordering this before you arrive. Please Click Here for the insurance schedule of benefits.

QWhat are the options for ministry?
A
- Your team can come as a ‘Building Group’ (separate cost of $5450 for the house) and bless a Mexican family with a house.
- Your group can participate as an ‘Evangelism Team’ and work with a local pastor or Rehab centers, Orphanages, Labor camps, Open air street ministry that is set up by our Evangelism coordinators in the Ensenada and Tijuana locations.
- Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Haiti and other International locations offered will let us know of the projects as the needs come up from the communities!
QWhat is the age requirement?

- For the students coming to participate, we recommend no younger than 11-12 (think Junior High or Middle School) as this ministry is set up for Junior High and High School Students.
- A youth leader or chaperon can bring their young child however we recommend that there are even leaders to look after your kids and also the parent is responsible for the young child!
QCan we bring items for the family we build for or for the Orphanages or Rehab Centers that we get to visit?

Yes you can bring new or gently used clothing, toys or household items to give to the family, toiletries and cleaning supplies which you can also purchase in . We ask that you keep it a limited amount, no more than a few things from each person and please don’t bring candies for the kids in the Orphanages.
QHow Many people do I need for a group?
A
We ask that you have a minimum of 10 people in a group!
